process<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-808d16f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"808d16f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In January 2015, Votorantim Metais started the construction of a mercury removal plant, as well as a new sulfuric acid plant for removal of sulfur dioxide from the flue gases, for their Cajamarquilla Zinc Refinery operation.<\/p><p>Outotec, a leader in the process solutions for mining industry, was awarded with the engineering, supply, installation and commissioning of both systems, the sulfur dioxide gas removal system and the Peracidox for the removal of Mercury.<\/p><p>By February 2015, Outotec awarded LEPSA with the engineering, manufacture and installation of all FRP and thermoplastic equipment included in the project. As a side note, later in 2018, LEPSA also supplied via Outotec, all FRP equipment for the concentrate roasting plant for Votorantim Metais, which are currently operating.<\/p><p>All equipment were overly complex, among which were,<\/p><ul><li>Reactor Cooling Tower, \u00d8 19.8  ft x 59.9 ft high.<\/li><li>02 Dual laminate FRP\/PVDF &amp; PP VENTURI, \u00d8 8.2 ft x 29.6 ft high.<\/li><li>02 FRP Scrubber, \u00d8 14.5 ft x 42.8 ft high<\/li><li>02 FRP stacks, made with Novolac Vinyl ester resin, \u00d8 8.6 ft x 196.10 ft high (manufactured and delivered in 4-off sections at 49.3 ft long each).<\/li><li>FRP tanks for Peracidox Dosing y Weak Acid Buffer.<\/li><li>FRP flue gas ducting at \u00d8 4.7 ft to 6.3 ft.<\/li><li>Dual laminate piping FRP\/PP ranged 1\u201d to 24\u201d diameter, with fire retardant external surface.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aedebb0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"aedebb0\" elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7d7ea65\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Later in the Project, LEPSA was nominated by GyM and COSAPI to perform all FRP and Thermoplastic jointing.<\/p><p>All Works was performed in alignment to the project\u2019s technical specifications and quality controls, which include third-party mechanical properties verification tests (performed by the PUCP\u2019s Materials Lab), thermoplastics welding test as per DVS-1, pressure (positive and vacuum) test; being all part of the commissioning plan.<\/p><p>LEPSA completed the project successfully in terms of quality, safety, and environmental management.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
