TASA is the largest producer of fish meal and fish oil in the world. Their quality, safety and environmental standards are very high, as well as the well care taken on the relationships with the communities where they operate. This, the company only procures goods and services from suppliers that have been approved by their very strict Internal Supplier Assessment Process.
In March 2017, the company TASA requested LEPSA to deliver a Ø 42.8 ft x 39.4 ft high for storage of 1,600 m3 of seawater. The tank was manufactured by filament winding and shipped in our oblation system for site assembly.
En octubre del 2018 TASA debido a la buena experiencia con LEPSA respecto al suministro de FRP tanks de grandes diámetros, renueva la confianza en LEPSA y nos encarga la fabricación de cuatro unidades adicionales: 01 tanque de 500m3 para su planta en Matarani y 03 nuevos tanques de 1,600m3 para su planta de Pisco.
The design of the tank was challenging because of the elevated seismic loads in the area that such large volume tanks must bear.
Su fabricación, transporte y montaje fueron un reto al tratarse de FRP tanks gran capacidad de almacenamiento fabricados en Perú. Los de 1,600 m3 fueron los más grandes, sobre terreno, que se han fabricado bajo este sistema en PRFV en el Perú y Chile.
The tanks were dispatched in three ring sections, and transported to site, where they were assembled by LEPSA’s site team at Pisco, 200km south from our facilities.
The Project was completed in 04 months, including the engineering, manufacture, transport, and assembly on site; all done following TASA’s strict requirements for safety, quality and environmental care.
