LEPSA supplied over 79,000 m2 of FRP corrugated planels for enclosure of concentrated minerals warehouse

Demand for FRP corrugated panels for enclosure of industrial buildings has growth over the last few decades, and it is overtaking conventional steel or other metals, which are exposed to corrosion at accelerated rates compared to FRP, where chemical gases, dust, or sea breeze environments are present.

In August 2008, LEPSA contributed to the engineering and supply of opaque and translucent panels in FRP for the concentrated minerals warehouse facilities, owned by IMPALA (formerly CORMIN); totaling 9,453 m2 of opaque panels and 1,537 m2 of translucent ones made of polycarbonate. Covered area includes the warehouse building, grinding area, and trucks entrance area.

In March 2013, Perubar (subsidiary of GLENCORE), acquires another 20,114 m2 of FRP panels, for the enclosure of their mineral warehouses in Callao.

Later, in October 2014, TERMINAL INTERNACIONAL DEL SUR (TISUR) procures 50,058m2 of FRP panels, for the enclosure of its concentrated mineral warehouse, located in Matarani, Arequipa-Peru.

LEPSA has achieved recognition as an expert supplier, and engineering services for construction of industrial building components, such as corrugated panels for enclosures, floor grating, conduit racks, handrails, ladders, and pultruded sections; all in FRP.
