The Project “Treatment of flue gas from smelter and refinery crucibles” has two defined areas: the smelter and the refinery crucibles, both are owned and operated by Southern Peru.
LEPSA provides goods and specialized services in FRP to Southern Peru since 2003.
Due to this long term relationship, in March 2014, Southern Peru contracted LEPSA for the supply of equipment for the project, which includes,
All tanks, scrubber, and ducting were manufactured to Filament winding and hand layup. Resin used for the project was vinyl ester with external layer fabricated from brominated vinyl ester, which provides fire retardancy properties.
Finally, LEPSA also provided on-site assistance for all commissioning and site testing required.
