The project consist on the erection, pre-assembly, and joining of FRP aboveground pipe for the water inlet works, DAF, sludge areas, and chemical plant. A total of 48,000 inch-diameter joints were performed on pipe and fittings ranged 1” up to 48” diameter, over a period of approximately 08 months, which required more than 130 technicians specialized in FRP piping and steel fitters. The scope or works included the installation of over 148 ton of steel pipe supports and racks.

Our 20 years experience in the FRP industry, including site works, was key to deliver the project, and strengthen the relationship with our client, Group COBRA-TEDAGUA, whom we have worked with in other projects in Peru.

This project has set a milestone in the history of LEPSA Chile, by being the first site works performed in Chile. We have showcased all our experience and capabilities for site works, including not only FRP joining, but also mechanical fitting of supports, and other attached equipment, in order to bring a complete solution to the mining industry, water treatment, desalination plants, pulp and paper, and others.
